This project report provides a detailed understanding of the specific infrastructure needs for the forestry industry in the Hub area to support it to progress from the growing stage to getting products to markets. It addresses roads, rail, ports, storage and handling facilities, skills (export), equipment, accommodation needs and digital coverage. It describes the current state of each element and clearly articulates the required upgrades and improvements to unlock the industry’s potential. While priorities and timings have been identified for each component, the report also presents a justification for an integrated approach to achieve the desired outcome.
